Balıkesir, after graduating from Balikesir High School, She attended Trakya University, School of Architect between 1993-1997 to earn her Bachelor's degree.

She worked for several architecture offices on projects, design and application in Istanbul. Between 2002- 2004 she worked on designing and application of the World's biggest Yacht Platinum in Dubai.

She returned to Istanbul in 2005 to work for a cooperation to design interior and exterior of large scale yachts, their production and applications as project manager collaborating with foreign design companies. After working as the Chief of Design Office for a famous hotel in Istanbul, and independently designing several projects for licencing, She decided to continue her career in her independent office, FtmDerin Architecture.
